We flew to Salt Lake to Grace's baptism. It was a wonderful experience. Grandpa and I gave the talks and Aunt Gail led the singing. Grace was so attentive and sincere. Velvet's Dad and stepmom also flew down from Corvallis. And Grace's aunt Ashlin was there too. Carl did both the baptism and confirmation. Velvet said the opening prayer and Carl said the closing.

I always enjoy going to the family baptisms, and grateful Carl and Velvet lives here so I can add an Olsen to the experiences. LOVED being there. It was a spiritually touching experience for me. Thanks for the invite!
P.S., the bishop told Grace to remember, when she gets to be a teenager and her dad is pushing her to hurry up, to remind him that she beat him back to the rest of us after Carl baptized her! Velvet did her hair so there was no time needed for it after, and she really was back in a flash!
