It was a beautiful drive up to Boulder.

We visited the Anasazi State Park Musem. It was a well planned, interactive museum. We watched an artistic film about "the people."

We didn't go down to Hole in the Rock, but we stopped at a roadside monument to memorialize their incredible effort.
We stopped at a rock shop down by the Petrified Forest. Eldon loves to browse in rock shops, but today I told him if he didn't buy one for a souvenir then I would do it for him. He got a slice of polished petrified wood that is very pretty.

Now if dad could only make cabinets or something out of petrified wood...
The Mormon tea sounds like an oxymoron. It is a beautiful land (though I'm not saying I'd want to build a summer home there). A cabinet made of petrified wood would probably be expensive and heavy.

They said the pioneers made tea with that plant, probably something like herbal tea. And you're right, petrified wood is expensive.
Zachary we're so excite about your call to Cambodia. My phone won't work here, but I'd love to hear how you feel about it.
