Visit of Erik and Gideon

While their parents and Esther and Zachary hiked Mount Rainier, Erik and Gideon stayed with us for 4 days. Fortunately Emily was here to help with them. We took them to church with us and Velvet brought her girls. Gideon really likes Velvet and wanted to sit on her lap in Relief Society.

While we hosted FHE at our house, Emily and Jason took the boys with them to their FHE which was a slip and slide party.

We took a walk and Erik was intrigued for quite some time with a caterpillar. He showed it to everyone we met.

Grandpa and Erik went on a tandem bike ride. Erik said "Hi" to everyone they passed.

Gideon liked the "wing." He gets a kick out of watching his shadow swing beneath him.

Emily took the boys with her to watch Jason's ultimate frisbee game. Grandpa and Erik played chess. Grandpa was impressed by how well Erik knew the game.
