Ken's birthday
Ken's getting old. He has a grey beard to prove it! Rachel made his birthday cake--a gorgeous chocolate cherry confection. Happy birthday to you. We love you Ken.
We were talking about all the ways we admire Ken yesterday. Sydney said "which one is Ken?" Then Maia said "The cool one. He's smart about computers and made an awesome train." Then Sydney mentioned the bugs and how he is a good son to grandpa and grandma. Berkeley said "does being a genius count?" and Sam said he admires the way Ken has cool hobbies for an adult.
I, for one, LOVE the way my brothers and brothers-in-law are such great uncles. Each is so different, but each is a larger-than-life hero to my kids.
