Because of the stormy east coast, flights were cancelled and we got stuck in Chicago. The weather here is cold and windy, but not too bad.
We spent the day at the Museum of Science and Industry, an interesting but tiring day. Probably the most interesting exhibit was of a German submarine that was captured by the US and preserved. It was immense. Other exhibits I thought were interesting were on lightening and earthquakes.

The good news is we can fly out tomorrow for Manchester, New Hampshire. What a relief! So we'll be there for Halloween after all.

Fun museum! I'm glad you get to travel tomorrow. So no chicago temple? Sheryl will be so glad to have you. Have a good flight and safe trip.
So did you make it in time for Halloween?? Hope so. I been a-worrying about you two back there trying to cross paths with that storm! Plus of the landings at O'Hare in my life, got stuck there both times! Once for three days. Took pity on me though - got up the long/slow line the last day to become the next customer, promptly burst into tears when they announced the cut-off, and then they kindly let me on the plane. Don't have fond memories of that Windy City either. Met my former roommate there in the dead of winter. Walking to her car, I kept brushing this "thing" off the side of my hatless head - turned out it was my cold-deadened ear! Looking forward to your N.H. pictures!!
